apparently I am a bad daughter...

...a very bad daughter.  I was on the phone with one of my sisters last night, and she started talking to me about cookware, and how she was wondering if I would go ahead and buy a (nice) set and then she would pay half of it back to me.  I was very confused--it was like she was continuing a conversation we'd had before but I didn't remember.  I think my exact words were, this is going to sound terrible, but what are we talking about?  Apparently, the last time we talked (which was weeks ago) we decided to buy our mom a set of nice cookware for Mother's Day.  She said she'd seen a 14 piece set for $99 and wanted my advice on whether this was a good bargain for that particular brand. 

However did I forget that?

And yes, my first inclination on hearing that a 14 piece set was on sale for $99 was, damn, forget mom, I'd buy that for myself!  If it was actually a good brand, that is, and not some off brand (I've had Le Crueset and All Clad on my wish list for a while now...and some new attatchments for my stand mixer, if, you know, anyone was wondering... :O)
