pennie_dreadful: A cat wearing glasses (Cat--Not Amused)

sigh

When I try to register for summer semester the school's website tells me I owe XXX amount of money, and that I have $0.00 in Financial Aide.  Which I know to be bullshit, as I found out a few weeks ago when I tried to get into that school in Birmingham, that I should have just enough left over to pay for this semester.  The hell?

If I manage to work this crap out, I am probably going to have at least one class with TDC.  Possibly more.  It was too good to last, I knew it.

But on the upside, I have no more projects to do, and the practicals for stocks and sauces are out of the way.  I have one more practical (for international cuisine) and three more written finals to go.  *flail*

Also, Olive is going to the vet in the morning to have her kitty making factory closed.  Positive thoughts and vibes are appreciated.

Nothing can beat the glare that a just desexed animal will give you. It's 'What. The hell. Have you done to me. B****.'

Then mixed in with the 'I'm so pitiful, please give me food, love, pats...'

I think that's more of a dog thing, honestly. Oz and Tob have been neutered and they acted pretty normal after coming home. Although Olive is a high strung cat, and she had a hard enough time when she went in for vaccinations back in January. Oh you should have seen how I had to wrestle her into that pet carrier! She only thought she knew what was coming!

My brother's cat sulked for days I think. Maybe it is Australian animals - they are good at emotional blackmail.

Our dogs love the vet for some reason. Maybe because they are stupid.

*laughs* Oh, dogs. I really do love a good mutt.

I think my cats are stupid as well, as in they don't even realize anything's missing.

Aw poor Olive *hugs* If she knew what she was missing out on though, she'd thank you for it! Ew, hooked penis *shudder*

Financial Aide, OSAP, Youth Allowance - no matter what country you're in or what it's called, it seems designed to rob us of sleep and give us permanent frown lines. I keep getting letters from OSAP telling me how much I owe and when I have to start paying it back - I haven't even finished the bloody degree yet!

I get the same types of letters--what blows my mind is they always state that since I'm still in school, I owe them 0 dollars. Ugh, thanks for wasting a tree, bastards. I've tried to see if I can sign up to have all this stuff just emailed to me, but I can't. It has to be an actual piece of paper, some legal crap.

I've already checked with the vet and Olive did fine; she can come home tomorrow.

I'm going to have to take all three of them in for vaccinations in June! That's going to be pleasant.
