I am good.  I went to the grocery store with $100 cash and walked out with $11 and some change.  Oh yeah.  Of course that's not even half of what I need to make all the wedding food, just the stuff I can make beforehand and freeze.  But the list my aunt made me did not include Bisquick and sausage and cheese, for the sausage balls--a staple of Southern weddings.  You just can't get married without sausage balls at your reception.  Meh, I'll get it tomorrow.  Don't have anything better to do.

But damn fruit and veggie trays are expensive.  Going to hit the farmer's market Thursday buy it all individually, and make my own.  Will be a hell of a lot cheaper.

Five more days.  Five more days.  Five more days.

Sound like a good shopping trip. You are on the road in just a few days. Throw yourself into packing and cooking and everything else will just fade away.

Are you really nervous or are you handing the impending move well?

Right now I'm more excited than anything. I have a good feeling about Friday. I keep thinking about how everything else has fallen into place, and all I need for it all to be perfect is to find a job.

Still no news on the job front, eh? I'll keep sending vibes for the job. Glad to hear you are excited about the move.

I recall having a few moments of blind panic/anger over trivial matters right before I moved. Not only were these reactions draining, but they were also pointless. Nothing wastes time like anger over insiginifcant matters.
