still broke, but Roommate is moving in tomorrow. Also I'm looking for a second job, because my hours are already starting to be cut, dammit. My phone is out of minutes and I keep thinking that now is when someone will finally decide to call me for an interview, that is just my luck.

And then when I do find time to scribble something down and type it up in the library, it's (technically, but not really) Doctor Who fic, what? Blame it on the interspecies married lesbian couple. I have occasionally joked about a DW/LHM crossover, and my fevered imagination has come up with a semiplausable setup for it, oh my god all these terrible things that I love. I was ready to quit Doctor Who because my frustration with it had reached critical mass, but then interspecies married lesbian couple, did you get that? They are my new favorite thing, and even while I revel in the few episodes they're in, and wish fervently for them to get their own spinoff, I secretly fear that they will get their own spinoff, because Steven Moffat :/

haha, yes, I am just...wanting so much more of my new otp, but then I have flashbacks of the entire River Song storyline, and I am all D: DNW, at least this way I have no bad memories, god.


eh, fwiw, I'm still managing to get the minimum hours I need to get by, I just know that after Christmas it's deadtime until May/June :(

lol, I don't watch Who (I barely watch TV ever) but I've read some of Fly's ragemeta about River Song: exhibit a, exhibit b.

Trying to write, too. Things keep overwhelming me and I'm not getting anywhere much, and what is coming out is overblown melodrama even by my standards >>

Lol, I rely on other people to tell me what's worth watching; one of my friends from work recorded the new show Sleepy Hollow, and told me I have to watch it, and OMFGY, she was right. It's great having friends with DVRs :) iirc I started watching Who because of living with my parents that one time, and my dad is (somewhat incongruously) a fan. It was a lot of fun at first! But now, it is not really suprising, but depressing nonetheless, just how many people don't get the massive amounts of skeeve surrounding River Song, in fact surrounding Who in general since Moffat took over. I've been known to stick with awful shows (and books) for a long time before deciding it's never going to get better. Eh.
