It turns out I have been offically ServeSafe certified for over two years and did not even know it.
I recieved my certificate in the mail last week, in an envelope from the school-from-hell, (except for that one semester that was really fun and cool). It was bent to fit in the envelope, so now there's a nice crease running down it. I'm just wondering why didn't they bend it at the perforation? They had a stub attached to the side that had my scores and percentages listed, that was the same size as the fold they made in the certificate itself. No fucking DUH. Even if I photocopy it, it will still have the damn crease.
And Echo, you just know this was not ServeSafe's fault; our certificates have probably been in a drawer in the front office all this time, and someone finally got a goddamn clue and figured we needed them.

Can you stick the certificate under a phone book for a few months to get the crease out? Might not work totally, but might work a little??

I wouldn't put it past them, Kat, I really wouldn't.
