I heart my standmixer
Tomorrow is my friend from work's birthday, and I volunteered to bake cupcakes, because I needed an excuse to try out a recipe I have for cream cheese frosting (lol, not because I like her or anything). I was going to bake a devil's food cake, but she doesn't like chocolate. o.O So I decided to go with a spring theme and make strawberry and lemon. I like a little variety, ya know?
That's pretty much it. At least until Friday; then I'll go to the bookstore and look for something new, and nevermind the fact that I have plenty of unread books already. But those books are mostly things that I picked up at thrift stores because they were only fifty cents, bibliophile that I am.
